VENUE HIRE

OPTION A – Theatre only for self-catered event, ie birthday party, staff function

  • Venue Hire $55 per hour. Includes kitchen facilities.
  • Venue Hire $70 per hour. Includes kitchen facilities and staff to assist with your evening

Hourly hirage is charged from the time you take possession until clean-up is done. This hire option is available outside of normal screening hours of

Thur/Fri 6pm to 10pm

Sat/Sun 12pm to 4pm & 6pm to 10pm

You will be met by our Facility Manager/Volunteer who will complete a H&S induction and advise of hire requirements.

Should any damage occur during hire this will be discussed at this time and an agreement made to remedy it.

OPTION B – Theatre hire for music or other event

  • Venue hire $300 minimum charge includes lighting and sound options. Staff to assist with your event, including ticket sales and running the shop.

This hireage option is available upon request. Please enquire further with your preferred day and time.

Optional extras (for Option A & B)

  1. Online ticket sales. One-time fee $50 to create and load
  2. Liquor License Fee $100
  3. Cleaning Fee $100

 

MOVIE HIRE.  Applies to current movie selection or backlog.

  • $150 min charge applies to all bookings. This rate includes a projectionist who can also open the theatre shop if required. This includes tickets for 10 people.
  • Current ticket price is charged per person over and above the allocated 10. We can seat 135 people.

Upstairs 70 seats

Downstairs – 65 seats – Sofa/easy chair style

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS when hiring the theatre   

  • What can I screen?

Current & Recent movies, please discuss with the Theatre Manager.

  • Can I bring cake or food for a private hire?

Yes, you can but are responsible for all clean up and removal of rubbish, unless the cleanup fee is paid.

  • Can I decorate the theatre?

Yes, you can but you will be responsible for all removal and any damage occurred. If you are hiring for a public event, we can assist with this also.

  • What food options are available?

Please see our current shop price list, this can be pre-arranged or purchased as required

  • Do you do cater?

Under some circumstances we can provide food, outside caterers are an other option.

  • Can I serve alcohol?

If this is a public event we will be required to obtain a Special Licence to sell alcohol, the cost to do this is $100 plus $20 per hour for license if required.

Note: Final booking confirmation and deposit is required 1 week before the event.

We require your hire form signed and returned to us with your nominated Fire Wardens identified.

Should you cancel your event within 7 days any fees already incurred will be payable.

Note: Final booking confirmations are needed a minimum of 2 days before the event.
